Migrating to AMIMOTO

Migrating to AMIMOTO Options and recommendations for migrating your WordPress site to AMIMOTO Managed Hosting

There are primarily, two options for starting with a migration to AMIMOTO Managed, Hosting. Either migrating the data yourself or asking us.

Migrating using a WordPress Plugin

For most customers, a self-service option is prefered and available using the recommended All-in-One WP Migration WordPress Plugin.

Generally speaking, this WordPress Plugin should work for any standard installation of WordPress. While this plugin is freely available in the WordPress Plugins directory, your site may exceed the limit of the free version which is removed with a premium upgrade.

Other Plugins and Guidelines

Any plugin that support SFTP should work on AMIMOTO Managed Hosting. If you have a goto or favorite you want to try we recommend using what you are familiar and comfortable with.

Migrating with SSH or the CLI

Every AMIMOTO Managed Hosting plan offers SSH access for using the CLI or SFTP using the SSH key provided to you in the AMIMOTO Dashboard.
